New Blog Topics

Poppable Opinions will be one of the most controversial categories in my blog. These will tend to be on the Taboo side of topics. Things that can be triggering such as suicide and the debate of pro-life vs pro-choice. It can also be things such as parenting styles, religion, addiction, grief and so much more. Some of these Poppable Opinions may cross with my personal daily-ish Blog titled “C.O.V. (Council Of Voices) as I will be inputting my own opinions in some of them. 

Though I know these can be triggering and taboo which we have been conditioned to not speak of…I will be. These are things that need

to be talked about. Not only that, but we need to be accepting of others’ opinions and still form some kind of relationship. 

I just saw this picture on Social Media where a man (Ben Owen) is holding up a sign that reads, “Just because I disagree with you, does NOT mean that I hate you. We need to relearn that in our society.” I can’t agree with this more. I had been toying around with speaking up with this category, but after seeing Ben’s post (I do not know Ben by the way), I feel like I have to follow through with it.

Even though I do want to respect those who are easily triggered, I encourage everyone to read and have an opinion. Hell, feel free to share your two cents, but I do request civility, respect for other human beings, and the same amount of kindness and consideration you’d expect from others.
